i been busy and theres not much worth mentioning going on .

i tinkered around a bit on that ulisttool thing  since i couldn’t sleep  and added some debug log support and made the default window interface more freindly for 800 x 600 users. and a bit cleaner.really want to offload more code into updatable function libaries…

Tonight i spent 4 hours working on a map , here is a sneak peek,
yes that is a 48+ room mansion , only thing thats remotely done is the building front and main stairway rough out, i have big ideas but  time will decide  how far i can  proceed, i want a open entryway with stained glass and projected light shadows..

    hehe, nice ( dragon?) statues at the entrance………. btw you got any lion head mesh in your database?

      sorry about late reply i suppose, needed to search bit

      They are actually angels (from postal2 iirc), bad screenshot quality didnt realize
      but they will probably get replaced latter with something more interesting anyway,
      single texture make them look a bit boring.

      I took a quick look and what i found is
      a spinx and a 2d outline of a lion and a lion statue that looks like a ugly flying horse
      here some pics see if your interested or somthing


      also this spinx , but i cant remember what map its from could chop the head and convert to mesh

      thos are the ones i can remember off the top of my head.
      i m pretty sure there isnt a lion scriptedpawn short of the ballisk witch isnt very much lion like, more like a bull

      there might be a anubis like lion head in the stargate LS pack or maps ,i cant look at all of the files right now to find out.mabye latter or somthing

      there may be others out there as well in ut monsterhunt maps etc i havnt seen them all yet.
      if you know a game or map that has one i might be able it import it also (no promises, many meshes turn to mush from other games)
      ill try keep my eye out tho. i am always digging tho stuff from differnt games/mods.

    Hi, Half of the spinx (esfingesmall) stone head would be good to make something like the picture below. A few of them will be set against a wall and water will come come out of the mouth to fake a fountain flooding an underground passage

      I know i am too late already.i think I saw that the map was already published.
      just thought i would reply so it dosnt seem like i ignored you.

      i dont think i can chop that head off easily. milkshape crashes out when i try to open the mesh ,so
      the easiest way i can think to do it involves first transforming the vertex mesh to a staticmesh in 227 , then back into a brush , then de-intersecting it, then exporting that brush then sending it to meshmaker to create a new vertex mesh again.that isnt foolproof , and i suspect when it goes from staticmesh to brush it will turn into a mangled wreck.

      I cant really slice apart the mesh properly , i dont have the proper modeling software here to do that.
