Mutator update , Site news ,Some other stuff

MapLoger mutator updated; Changed he way it switches between maps, This will probably be changed again soon. It now uses Severtravel instead of simply calling advance , Which is not present or alterntly called in diffenent gametypes, this was planned way before hand. so that it wouldnt be dependent of a specific gamtypes commands. this update wont break previously created config entries.

I am also started a re-write of the entire news page as it is a mix of ill edited format and font and boldnesses

I am gonna be reuploading it by ftp from now on and updating old entries as i have time. it will be a bit akwad intill it gets settled

i also messed around with wordpress .but i dont think it wat i need for this site , it requires me to use there editor and added another layer to the editing mix , not to mention all the blog posts with that are stored is a sqldatabase that i can do noting with , cant edit outside of the press editor. not that it matters but the wp admin pass is the same as the server one.If you feel the need to spontaniosly post unreal crap.

Also someelabrate keybinding , never seen anthing quite like it , reminds me of the bs that i did with 3 tier exec chat ‘menus’ lol

imagin this below , but with 6 diffent files , cascade-linked to number keys. so that you can hit z it set num key to “pick type’ mode , then hit 1 for objective messages that set the numbers to messages and then reset them. i lost the main topic file.

somthing like this would be great for summonp , via number keys.

JGrass Platform Update

Jgrass v2.13 Released along with a update to gxcoop and the rest of the missing files that were aperently missing from the first release like the hud and scoreboard.Update also fixes the summon logging bug and obviously the missing hud and scoreboardf .Link ……..Local

Quite exited that the core Parts can be modified Severside, and that the server can interact with mutate and sever console commands.

I spent a lot of effort on starting to move a lot of a custom xcoop to a severside function template style layout, to attempt to accomplish somthing like this, To allow more flexibility.So this is great Just need to spend more time setting it up, As it has many difernt interchangeable parts that need to be setup , bu tit offers alot.

More Map Fixes…

After watching a player get pissed and quit after Falling and spawning in the ‘Space’ area of SpaceLab due to how the respawn mod works , I decided to add a quick fix for that map it my comical style it wont kill you , But will teleport you back to the walkway you likly fell from.

Also Added something similar in the map Dug , In the first part where the cart ride over the lava is.

New 226 Mappack in Creation

Ronbr has for a while now been working on some 226 maps.  Currently has a pack of 42 available on his blog/site. The current version contains upak stuff so you will need  unrealGold instaled to load/ play ,I cant run them on my server since i run 225 and 227h without gold as is .  There not Super awsome maps , But they are a fairly large pack, Just thought I would give it a mention since it hard to find any active sites for unrealgold maps. The blog is in Portuguese.

Message Board Trashed

I have removed the phpbb forum from this site , not a single person ever used it and It was just a gaint spam collection system. so much so that the host told me basicly the hugeness of the data base of spam was slowing the queries down on the other user accounts. so i took the easy route and just trashed the whole forum.You can still use the Proboards forum i setup a year back , But im not maintining it anymore so you on your own.
